The guests for today's The Oprah Winfrey Show are Elizabeth Smart and John Ramsey, the main topic they would be discussing today would be about "The Stories that Captured the Nation".
The 14 years old Elizabeth Smart was a kidnap victim 6 years ago. Elizabeth was kidnapped at Knifepoint from her bedroom in suburban Salt Lake City in 2002.
Elizabeth Smart was imprisoned for 9 months, by the alleged kidnappers. The kidnappers were the psychic Brian David Mitchell and his wife, Wanda Barzee who had kept Elizabeth tied to a tree just three and a half miles from home.
Four months later Elizabeth's sister Mary Katherine remembered that a man once hired to work at home smarts resembled the man who took Elizabeth.
Sketches resembling the kidnappers were released immediately, and on 12 March 2003, Mitchell, Barzee and Elizabeth were spotted on the street in Salt Lake City. Elizabeth was rescued and goes home alive.
While John Ramsey was the father of JonBenet Patricia Ramsey. JonBenet was the little girl who was found dead in the basement of her parent's home.
